Western Digital is one of the two brands I usually buy when it comes to hard drive. It might be pricey but the reliability of these babies goes a long way. I often buy the internal one’s for my desktop to save those precious family photos and videos. Who among you would buy a cheaper brand and in the end would lose those precious files that you can’t replace?
I started buying the WD My Book just because I switched in using laptop / netbooks. All laptops could only hold one hard drive inside and usually only have limited space. I usually buy 1tb to 3tb of hard drive and try to partition them according to kind of files I have to keep it organized.
Upon browsing the web I just knew that there is a new WD Blue Ultra-Slim Hard Drive. Not only that I was happy to know about it but also a good timing for my upcoming new high-end laptop which I ordered from the States. Well that laptop is well-known as the gamers / graphics laptop. I have the option to add another hard drive for more added space. Because I am both a gamer and a video fanatic mom. Who say’s that just because I am already a mom I can’t have some fun once in a while.
What’s great with this WD Blue Ultra-Slim Hard Drive is much lighter and slimmer than the ordinary hard drives in the market. It’s 35 percent thinner than most popular smartphones and 47 percent thinner than a standard mobile hard drive.
WD Blue ultra-slim hard drive is 36 percent lighter than standard mobile hard drives, weighing in at just 74 grams, (2.61 ounces). Our new intelligent micro PCBA also helps reduce drive mass for 47 percent less total volume without compromising mobility requirements, making WD Blue as light as a feather.
Not like the other hard drives we have you can usually hear it’s noise during operation.
Because its slim them made it a point to have stronger aluminum materials and a harder Tied-Shaft motor which increases drive pinch strength as much as 30 percent. Also new superior grade, high performance Dual Stage Actuator. Our latest technology helps to cut vibrations and acoustics emitted from within your system, increasing drive reliability and adds value by helping protect your investment.
