Movie Review: The Ring 3: Sadako exclusively at SM Cinema’s

Last night even with the heavy rains and flooding within my area I still managed to go to SM Marikina. I was invited by fellow blogger who asked  who near the area to go see the movie. This is my first time to watch a movie at SM Marikina even though I am just within the area. I just usually do when my family got to visit SM Marikina is eat and do some groceries.

Upon entering the cinema 1 the seats are very spacious and the aircon just have the right temperature. The only thing I notice that when you need to go to the restroom you need to go out of the cinema and go to the common restroom that serves cinema 1,2, and 3. The movie started with the National Anthem and immediately followed by the movie itself.

For followers of Sadako is all about a “cursed video” that once you get to watch it follows the death of that person.  Here the “cursed video” now high tech and gone online thru the internet. The movie started by Kashiwada throwing a lady wearing white at the well. After that Kashiwada created a video who appears in the suicide footage that been the cause of lots of suicide.  Kashiwada’s intention is to create chaos in the world by bringing back Sadako and the power of her curse.

Verdict: For me the movie is not much scary than the first one that really creep me out. But for the other viewers it made them scream and laugh after because they got shocked by the instance of the movie. During the movie just a few just got out for a restroom break.  All the movie goers are hooked to their seats reading the translation to understand the whole story. I was expecting something scary at the end that usually other movies have that they have teasers for the next movie. It ended up Sadako wasn’t succesfull in her resurrection.
