MEDICARD MARKS 25TH YEAR WITH FUN RUN
MANILA, Philippines – MEDICard, one of the country’s leading Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) companies, celebrates its 25th anniversary and good health by staging its first ever MEDIRun on May 19 at the Bonifacio Global City.
Events to be disputed are the 3K, 5K and 10K race categories in men’s and women’s divisions to be spiced up by a 100-m toddler and kiddie dash runs.
Registration fee is pegged at P450 for non-MEDICard members, P350 for MEDICard members and P200 for toddlers.

Prices include Medals for top finishers, loot bags and raffle prizes after the race.
Aside from prizes, participants are entitled to pre-race check-up a voucher which entitles them to special rates for select run-related tests that can be availed at MEDICard clinics.
These include the following:
- Free cholesterol screening
- Free triglycerides test
- Free check-up with a primary care physician
- 30% discount on treadmill stress test and
- 20% discount on lipid profiling. Toddlers also get a free complete blood count test.

Registration started last March 30 at Chris Sports and selected MEDICard clinics – Alabang, Fairview, Las Piñas, Medicard Lifestyle Makati, Ortigas, Quezon City and Santa Rosa.
Proceeds will go to charitable activities of Medicard Foundation, Inc.
