Ford Focus Cook Off Challenge Battle of the Sexes
Me and my son Jeremy always love car’s and anything that moves fast. Yes I know seldom does you hear a woman love car’s that usually the guys are in to it. I love going to car shows and appreciate the exhibitors cars during the car shows. Car’s that has nice paint jobs, powerful engines, elegant interiors and other great stuff that any automotive enthusiast can do with their cars. November 6, 2012 I was once again invited by Ford Philippines to their challenge and its called the Ford Focus Cook Off Challenge. Only selected media are invited to this event to get the chance to drive the all New Ford Focus. I tried the New Ford Focus from their recent activity the “New Ford Focus Experience : Start It, Share It, Win It”. But this time is a different one and we get to drive the New Ford Focus at South Expressway. Me and my son Jeremy is so excited to get the feel of the New Ford Focus. 
Like before from the Ford Fiesta Challenge in Ford Focus Challenge it consist of 4 teams and 2 pair of ladies team and 3 guys in the two remaining teams. We are asked to draw lots in what Ford Focus are we going to drive. Team 1 for – 2.0L Focus Titanium+Sedan, Team 2 – 1.6L Focus Sedan, Team 3 – 2.0L Focus Sport+Hatchback and Team 4 – 1.6L Focus Hatchback all in automatic transmission. 
After doing our grocery we are tasked to call Ford coordinator using the feature SYNC of the New Ford Focus to make a call. We are asked to go back but we are needed to have a pit stop at Shell Station located at C5 Market Market. To gas up and get our reading for our fuel efficiency. We arrived back at Enderun College before 12pm and we are the first team to arrive.
Task 2: We need to do a timed parallel parking by our own and the next is timed parallel parking using New Ford Focus Active Park Assist. So I volunteered team 4 to be our representative for this task.

Task 3: With the groceries we made we are tasked to cook a specified dish that the Chef of showed us the steps in making the dish. We are only given 30mins to finish and plate our dish. It just like the show “Masterchef”.

Team 4 final dish
This is the results of our challenge and it shows our points in every challenge. The Team 1 won the challenge and tie with Team 2 and Team 4. Team 1 got a price of weekend use of the Ford Focus and an overnight stay at a hotel. Even the other teams didn’t won still we are very grateful and had fun during the challenge. Also the Ford Philippines really had made this challenge fun for both media and Ford Philippines.
Getting to drive the New Ford Focus really excite me to get to feel and experience to drive it. Already tried driving the New Ford Fiesta and the New Ford Focus. What would be next to test drive? hmm…… Maybe the Ford Mustang. hehehe!!! Thank you very much Ford Philippines for such invitation and experience with the all New Ford Focus.
